Could it be the end for IE 6?

The premise is simple: Internet Explorer 6 is out dated, it doesn’t follow and support key web standards and should be phased out as soon as possible. Support for it can add between 20 – 30% of time to the build stage of a project!
Far from being anti-Microsoft, we would like to encourage web users to move to modern browsers such as IE8, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera. IE6 accounts for about 10% of web usage, largely business users who havent got round to upgrading (it is free if you didnt know!).
Well I hope you guys are right. It pains me to see people still using such as an archaic browser!
