Does Size Matter?

With technology evolving and screens getting bigger, the eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed that websites are getting wider.
Not so long ago, websites were built to fit to 800 pixels wide as monitors couldn’t cope with anything bigger without the dreaded horizontal scrolling.
Not anymore… Research from W3Schools now shows that 86% of all web users are working at 1024 x 768 or higher. Taking this into consideration combined with the evidence which points to the decline in use of screens with a lower resolution we now build our websites for 1024.
